Angela holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Educational, Instructional, and Curriculum Supervision from California State University-Dominguez Hills, as well as a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Organizational Leadership from Seattle University.

Throughout her career, Angela has held various leadership roles, including Executive Director at Launch, Chief Program Officer at Treehouse, Associate Director of Education Program Services at Treehouse, Regional Director of Early Childhood Programs at YMCA of Greater Seattle, Vice President Board of Education at Federal Way Public Schools, Associate Executive Director at YMCA of Greater Seattle, Senior Director of Child Care and Community Programs at YMCA of Greater Seattle, and more.

Prior to her organizational leadership positions, Angela's experience includes roles as a Middle School Teacher at a Private School in Los Angeles, Paraeducator at Los Angeles County Office of Education, Workforce Development Specialist at Greater Long Beach Workforce Development System, Area Director Of Operations at Boys & Girls Clubs of Long Beach, and Operations Manager at Young Horizons.
