Angela Kim

MSHS/MPH '24, George Washington University

Angela Kim is a highly accomplished individual with a strong background in biology and a passion for the medical field. She graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

During her time in Boston, Angela served as a research assistant at the Sinclair Lab, where she focused on studying the associations aging has with mitochondrial dysfunction and epigenetic alterations. She also actively contributed to the Boston community by volunteering in Boston Public Schools and clinical settings.

Her experiences in clinical settings inspired her to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant (PA). She furthered her clinical experience by working as a physical therapy aide and nurse assistant through Northeastern University's co-op program. Angela's deep interest in human physiology and her desire to make a meaningful impact on people's health have been the driving forces behind her career aspirations in the medical field.

Angela continued her education by pursuing a Master of Science in Health Sciences at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, as well as a Master of Public Health (MPH) at The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health.

Throughout her academic journey, Angela has been involved in various organizations and roles, including serving as an Allied Health Co-op at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Physical Therapy Aide at Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy, an Undergraduate Math Mentor at Northeastern University, a Research Assistant at Harvard Medical School, an Office Assistant at CDD at Northeastern University, a Physics Classroom Lab Assistant at Northeastern University, and a Front Desk Assistant at Cerritos Medical Center.
