Growing up with vibrant family traditions centered around home-cooked meals, she developed a deep appreciation for the culinary arts. Angela's journey in the restaurant industry began with invaluable experiences that fueled her love for great food, paving the way for her future endeavors.
Angela's commitment to healthy eating gained prominence during the natural food movement, which resonated deeply with her goal of promoting nutritious meals. Her dedication to this cause became even more pronounced when she returned to the restaurant environment in Chicago. While working in an industry she loved, Angela pursued her studies in early childhood education to foster the well-being of the future generation. It was during this time that the vital connection between healthy food and children's nutrition became exceedingly clear.
In search of new opportunities and an enhanced work-life balance, Angela relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area, where she ventured into catering, ultimately leading to the inception of her own culinary venture, "Life’s a Feast." After a successful period in California, Angela, along with her colleague Carolyn, decided to return to the Midwest in 2008 with the intention of establishing their catering and private chef company in the beautiful Dubuque/Galena area. Together, they strive to bring the joy of fresh, wholesome meals to their community while enjoying the scenic views of the Mississippi Valley.
Angela's entrepreneurial spirit and passion for health culminated in her enrollment at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in March 2012, where she became a certified Holistic Health Coach. This certification reinforced her vision of helping others realize their potential through good nutrition and a balanced lifestyle.
Education and Achievements
Angela's educational journey reflects her commitment to personal growth and professional development. She studied health coaching at the prestigious Institute of Integrative Nutrition, where she gained valuable knowledge and skills to support others in their health endeavors. Furthermore, her academic pursuits in early childhood education at DePaul University emphasized her dedication to not only food but education as well, showcasing her multifaceted approach to nurturing health in various life stages.
Additionally, Angela enhanced her local insights and leadership abilities through her studies at Leadership Dubuque, further enriching her understanding of community dynamics and how she can best contribute to it. Angela has also lent her expertise to the community as an instructor at Northeast Iowa Community College, sharing her vast knowledge of food and health with eager learners.

As the co-host and co-creator of “Life’s a Feast” television series, she showcased her culinary skills and passion for healthy living to a broader audience.
