Angelika Welzel-Connolly is a dedicated professional in the field of dementia care with a doctorate in Dementia Studies from the University of Stirling.

Her passion for enhancing dementia care led her to establish Dementia Dialogue, where she serves as the Founder and Director.

Angelika has a diverse educational background, including a MA in Social Science from The Open University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Dementia Studies from The University of Stirling.

She has lent her expertise as a Dementia Consultant at the Royal Borough of Greenwich and previously worked as a Dementia Specialist at a Carers centre, imparting her knowledge and skills in this crucial area of healthcare.

Angelika Welzel-Connolly's commitment to dementia care is also reflected in her academic pursuits, having conducted research visits to Japan to gain valuable insights into innovative approaches for dementia care, which she passionately shares through presentations based on her work practices observed.

Beyond her professional engagements, she has contributed to the field through her role as a Book Reviewer at the Journal of Mental Health, further showcasing her dedication to advancing knowledge and best practices in dementia care.
