Angie Andriot is a writer who believes in the power of words and storytelling to inspire and influence.

She started her writing journey in March 2022 and has already achieved recognition with her debut YA Contemporary Fantasy novel, The Stonecrafters, winning the 2023 Claymore Award for Best Juvenile/YA.

Angie is dedicated to helping authors discover the 'why' in their stories and offers soul care for writers by blending sociology and spirituality.

With a PhD in Sociology from Purdue University, she brings over a decade of experience as an adjunct sociology professor and a deep understanding of human behavior and social dynamics.

Her background as an elementary art teacher adds to her keen eye for the stories that shape our lives.

Angie serves on the Board of Directors for Louisville Literary Arts and contributes to nurturing a vibrant literary community.

Additionally, she does editing work for Killer Nashville Magazine.

Her educational background includes a PhD in Sociology, Master's degrees in Sociology and Social Sciences, and a Bachelor's degree in Art Teacher Education, all from Ball State University.

In terms of professional experience, she has held roles as an Editor at Enchanted Owl, Owner at Crafty Spirit and Vetiver Aromatics, Research Analyst at Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), and Adjunct Professor at Indiana University Southeast.
