I’ve had the pleasure of seeing first-hand the impact #community can have in #venture 👀 👇🏾

When Operator Collective 🔆 disrupted the venture ecosystem 4 years ago, we were the first to intentionally build with enterprise #operators and bring them into the venture ecosystem, creating pathways for them to #invest in the next wave of great startups while supporting their transitions and elevating their careers with board seats, mentorship, advisory roles, and more! 🙌🏾

Fast forward to today and not only has the Collective Venture Model™️ proven itself, but other firms are replicating it because it works 💥

Communities create power by moving collectively and focusing their efforts as one. At Operator Collective 🔆 we are doubling our efforts and focus by launching our second fund of $92M+ and increasing the number of operators working with us to 200+, while still remaining 90% women and 40% people of color. 🙌🏾

To say we do venture differently is an understatement, and I’m so excited for what’s to come 🥳

Huge shoutout to Mallun Yen for sharing her vision with the world, to my team (Pam Kostka, Anna Jacobson, Caroline Caswell, and Erika McLoughlin) for trusting me with this incredible community, and to each and every member of our fund-- we would not exist without you & we are so grateful you’re all choosing to build and invest with us. 🥰

Cheers to the #future of venture and #OpCo. You’re not going to want to miss what comes next ✨ #collectiveventure

Ep 5: Into the Metaverse is live ✨

This episode explores what a metaverse is, what’s possible inside of them, where to find them, and what it means for our future. Some notable mentions include Snoop Dogg and his #Snoopverse, Balenciaga’s Fortnite collaboration, Travis Scott’s #Astroworld performance, lil nas x in Roblox and so many more in the episode.

I had so much fun making this #web3weirdos episode because I’ve been a fan of metaverses since I could use a computer. Do I want to live in one? No, but it’s fun to dip in and out of. Plus, it’s the future 💫
