Anita Lazurko is a highly educated professional with a diverse background in environmental sciences, water management, and engineering.

Anita holds a PhD in Social and Ecological Sustainability from the University of Waterloo, a Master's Degree from MESPOM specializing in Environmental Sciences, Policy, and Management, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from The University of Calgary.

Throughout her career, Anita has held various roles in esteemed organizations, including Deltares as a Graduate Researcher in Water Resources and Delta Management, the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) as a Water Management and Finance Consultant and as a Visiting Scientist & Research Intern, the International Institute for Sustainable Development as a Research Intern, Engineers Without Borders Canada as an Embedded Consultant focusing on WASH Catalysts, CH2M as a Civil Engineering Intern, and Engineers Without Borders Canada as a Global Engineering Social Change Fellow.
