Highlights
An Inspiring Day! On Wednesday, I had the pleasure of recording an internal knowledge-sharing session on our soon-to-launch #Neurodiversity Center of Excellence at EY Sweden. It was an thought-provoking discussion with our People Sustainability Partner, Daniel Brämhagen, and Essi Alho from the Prince Couple’s Foundation. Together, they are driving thought leadership initiatives like “Värdet av att vara sig själv” https://lnkd.in/dkeS_hFt.
I’m incredibly proud of our team’s commitment to launching this CoE, updating our process, eg. recruitment, to be more inclusive. Special thanks to team leaders Fredrik Berg and Unai Viguri Del Hierro Viguri for their dedication to making this initiative a success and highly look forward to Rebecca Nobel, now joining us to put this in motion.
Following that, I attended my JUC network meeting with other sustainability leaders. It’s crucial to put things in perspective. I gained a lot of inspiration from facilitators Melanie Sjögren and Anna Arnsvik. They shared valuable insights on tackling upcoming regulations, emphasizing both the risks of non-compliance and the potential benefits of leading the way. Anna’s example of the upcoming emission trading system for the shipping industry was particularly enlightening.
Finally, a big thanks to Johanna Flood for her candid comment on the importance of delegating responsibilities, such as board competence development, to the appropriate parties. It’s a reminder that sustainability leaders shouldn’t feel responsible for everything—it’s a common (and dangerous) trap.
I love that my job is filled with such variation and I'm so happy that I have a team around me that makes it possible.
