We at Vantage Circle are proud to sponsor the 2nd edition of the Guwahati Marathon. 30 of us ran at this event last year. This is the first time we are sponsoring a local event of this scale.

Running marathons has been a big part of my life for over a decade. But the chance to get out of my bed and run my own city marathon has always been a dream.

Organizing a full marathon is no small feat. You need 42 km of traffic-free roads right through the heart of the city.

Thankfully, we have the support of the sports enthusiasts at Paper Mache Pvt. Ltd.

At the launch, Olympian Lovlina Borgohain and Guwahati Police Commissioner Diganta Barah showed their immense support for the event.

Hosting a marathon can significantly boost a city’s image, much like global events such as the Olympics.

Cities that host mega sports events often become popular tourist destinations. They draw people from all over the globe.

But it’s not just about the visitors. Locals start seeing their city differently too.

When you run through the streets, you realize how connected everything is. You experience your city on foot, maybe for the first time. 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️

This newfound awareness makes you more caring and appreciative of your surroundings. It’s incredible how an event like this can transform the way you see your hometown.

Whether you’re an experienced runner or just starting out, the Guwahati Marathon will offer something special for everyone.

For seasoned runners, Guwahati’s cool February weather will give you the perfect opportunity to set a new PR(personal record).

And for those new to running, now is the ideal time to start your journey. With six months to go, you have plenty of time to train, build your endurance, and prepare for this exciting challenge.

You can choose to run the full 42 km marathon or opt for the half marathon, 10K, or 5K.

Don’t miss out on this special event in #Guwahati, the gateway to the Northeast.

Today is the International Day of Yoga(IDY), and I want to extend my best wishes to all yoga enthusiasts out there.

This special day also gives me an opportunity to share my own yoga experience so far.

It’s been a year since I started practicing yoga.

At first, I was skeptical. I wasn’t sure if I could stick with it. But I decided to set some simple goals and give it a try.

To my surprise, yoga quickly became a part of my routine.

Yoga is for the body and the mind. I’m still exploring the mental benefits, but I’ve definitely seen improvements in my physical well-being.

Two things are essential for making any activity a habit: a supportive environment and good guidance.

We partnered with a local yoga center to make yoga accessible to everyone at our Guwahati office of Vantage Circle

Our yoga sessions became more than just exercise—they became a team sport. We supported each other and grew together.

The experience showed me the power of yoga in the workplace. It helps us reduce stress and improve our overall health and well-being.

I highly encourage employers to consider yoga as a team-building activity. It can make a significant difference.

I’d love to hear about your experiences with yoga in the workplace.
