Hi folks. I'm reaching out to my BIPOC network with a request/opportunity for an early career Black scholar in any humanities or social sciences field. My wonderful host at St. John's Medical College in Bangalore, India is looking for someone to serve as co-PI for a study investigating the connections between anti-Black racial discrimination in the US and anti-Dalit caste discrimination in India. This study will involve interviews online so it's a great way to begin an international research relationship without required travel. This person may be a late program PhD student, post doc, early faculty or similar position in any related field (anthropology, sociology, African American studies, etc.). The deadline to submit for grant funding and ethics approval is fast approaching, so I'm hoping one of my friends either fits this description or knows someone who does.
Please share this with your networks or suggest folks who may be interested and have the capacity for a project like this.
