Anna Haw is a South African conservationist with a diverse background in wildlife conservation physiology and business administration. She holds a PhD in wildlife physiology and pharmacology from the University of the Witwatersrand and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Anna is passionate about finding sustainable solutions that address poverty alleviation while conserving biodiversity. She believes in creating social enterprise models that prioritize environmental, animal, and human health. Her goal is to help build a new economy that operates within planetary boundaries and promotes social equality.

Anna is involved in the 36x36.org initiative, collaborating with female leaders to develop a new economic framework. Her extensive global network and interdisciplinary skills enable her to tackle complex challenges with innovative approaches. With experience in managing and implementing projects, particularly in resource-constrained environments like southern Africa, Anna is adept at creating impactful solutions.

Throughout her career, Anna has held various roles in organizations such as the Smithsonian Institute, Global Health Program as a Wildlife Health Veterinary Manager, and as a Fellow at 36x36.org. She has also worked at institutions like the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna, the Natural Capital Project, and the University of the Witwatersrand. Anna's previous experience includes positions at the Onderstepoort Veterinary Institute, the Cheetah Conservation Fund, and the Landmark Foundation.
