Anna Katherine Brodbeck is the Hoffman Family Senior Curator of Contemporary Art at the Dallas Museum of Art, bringing a wealth of experience in the field of modern and contemporary art with a specialization in Latin America.

Brodbeck holds a Ph.D. in Art History from the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University, where she also completed her Master of Arts in Art History and Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts and Spanish with the highest honors.

Prior to her current role, she served as the associate curator at Carnegie Museum of Art, contributing to a retrospective of the renowned Brazilian artist Hélio Oiticica in collaboration with prestigious art institutions like the Art Institute of Chicago and the Whitney Museum of American Art.

With a strong academic background and a rich curatorial experience, Brodbeck's expertise encompasses modern and contemporary art, particularly focusing on the art scene in Latin America.

Throughout her career, she has held various roles such as the Nancy and Tim Hanley Associate Curator of Contemporary Art and the Nancy and Tim Hanley Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art at the Dallas Museum of Art, demonstrating her dedication to the curation and promotion of contemporary art.

In addition to her curatorial positions, Brodbeck has also shared her knowledge as an adjunct instructor at both New York University and Hunter College, further emphasizing her commitment to education and the dissemination of art history.
