🎓 I’m happy to share that I’ve completed the course: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗜 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 from Stanford University!

This course is giving general and quite broad overview of the AI: operating principles of foundation models/LLM/generative AI models, how AI development progressed over years and what to expect, improvement of models performance through training, and wider perspective of AI implications on economy and society.

E.g. implications on ♦ labour market (elimination of human jobs vs. creation of new jobs - balance and pace of both, importance of upskilling), ♦ taxation (currently there's higher tax on labour vs. capital, thus, there's an incentive for businesses to invest in reduction of labour costs, deepening unemployment concerns as a consequence), ♦ growing inequality (wealth re-distribution within countries but also growing regional inequalities), even ♦ security and military aspects...

Great calibre of guest speakers, including ex-Google CEO Eric Schmidt, OpenAI CTO Mira Murati and others.
