Dr. Anne Veeger is a highly accomplished academic professional with a vast background in hydrology and geology. She holds a Ph.D. in Hydrology from the University of Arizona, an M.S. in Geology/Hydrogeology from Syracuse University, and a B.S. in Geology from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown.

Currently serving as the Vice Provost of Academic & Faculty Initiatives at the University of Rhode Island, Dr. Veeger brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the academic realm. Prior to this role, she was the Associate Dean of the College of the Environment & Life Sciences at the same institution. Additionally, she has served as an Associate Professor and Department Chair at the University of Rhode Island, further showcasing her leadership capabilities and academic contributions.
