Annya Crane is a multilingual professional with a diverse background spanning various sectors, continents, and working environments, emphasizing the importance of diversity and bringing people together.

With experience in policy work, advocacy, consumer marketing, behavior change, and international development, Annya has worked on projects in Africa, India, Jordan, South America, and Spain.

Annya holds a Master of Arts in Cultural and Social Applied Anthropology, focusing on understanding challenges from the perspective of those directly involved, and applies an anthropological lens to her work.

Passionate about the sea, Annya conducted MA research on sustainability among fishing communities in the Balearic Islands, collaborating with conservation organizations and stakeholders for a sustainable future.

Currently, Annya works as a consultant for various clients and serves as a coastal and offshore skipper, leveraging her skills and expertise.

Previously, Annya held roles such as Chief Communication Officer, Consultant, Researcher, and Programme Manager in organizations like UNESCO, Marilles Foundation, Worldreader, and Low Impact Fishers of Europe - LIFE, among others.
