The Secret Service is deeply committed to understanding every detail of the July 13th assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. Our goal is to ensure that such acts of violence never happen again. We are dedicated to transparency and are cooperating fully with the FBI, congressional inquiries, and external reviews. On Tuesday, July 30th, Acting Director Ronald Rowe testified before the U.S. Senate and his testimony is below.
Today we joined Gov. JB Pritzker, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson and our federal, state, county and city public safety partners to brief on security plans for the upcoming Democratic National Convention. A special thank you to the Secret Service teams and everyone helping behind the scenes with the massive planning and coordination.
