Will Update! This is a note from my sister, Will's mom. "The infusion of elevidys Will received on October 11, 2023 has proven to be nothing short of miraculous, a true answer to all our prayers. Will has made improvements and is showing no signs of disease progression almost 6 months post infusion. He is able to get up from a sitting or lying down position without any problems, he runs as fast as the average 6 year old. He can run up and down the stairs, jump over a pillow lifting both feet off the ground, and has much more energy. As a 6 year old boy with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy he would normally be struggling to do all these things and would begin to show signs of regression (he is having the opposite experience!) We are so pleased with these results and feel so Blessed. Thanks to everyone who has prayed and supported Will."
I echo my sister's gratitude to all of you. The response to my outreach was...was.... I am struggling for words that reflect the magnitude of the response (so many people) and the depth of concern and the level of effort from people close to me and many whom I have never met. In this world of polarized beliefs, it was inspiring to be on the receiving end of your help, support and guidance.
