#curiosity
In my life I have participated and facilitated many transformational containers from the radical exploration of Burning Man and The Latitude Society to the more traditional expectations of corporate off-sites and conferences. Google #XiDays was a truly a culminating moment for me personally. The intention and care that Megan Henshall, CMP, DES, Rosemary Koesling, Ryan Howard, and the rest of the team put into it impacted me greatly. The trust they extended to Claus Raasted & Paul Bulencea, allowed us to bring together a circle of not so secret experience design sorcerers.
A special thank you to that circle, which at moments stretched me to new levels while always supporting me gently, and all along the way we invited others in to join the adventure. To Mary Candice Shindler, thank you for teaching me how to keep Hope alive. To Divine Bradley, thank you for Grounding with love and care. To Jacob Marshall, thank you for transmitting Beauty. To David Bassuk, thank you for teaching me the true meaning of the Labyrinth. To Peter Droste, thank you for Holding me again and again. To Monica Canfield-Lenfest, thank you for being my partner in Architecting Curiosity - I couldn't do it without you. (Pim Schachtschabel - we missed you madly). To all those of you that I met, including but not limited to: David Kliman (he/him/his), Tim Mousseau, Charles Fry, Jenny Hamer, Katelyn Sweltz, Sam Paris, Mari Lee, Jon Morris, Lori Weitzner, Marie Kelly, Ellie Scott, Andrea Doyle, Janet Sperstad, CMP, Mathias Sondermann, Charlie Ferbet, Kyle Godfrey-Ryan, Kristin Metropoulos, Matthew Pachai, Ariel Figueroa, Lee Kim and several others, I am excited for what lies just beyond the horizon.
Until our next adventure may this reflection of the Principles of Curiosity in Practice be a harvest of what we co-created and plant seeds for future magic.
