Cricket is a weakling sport. Basketball is a strong link sport. If Education was a sport what do you think it would be?
Weakling sports are those, where more often than not the team will be as good as the weakest player. On the other hand, in a strong link sport, the team could be carried forward by a superstar on her own shoulders alone!
Vidushi Malhotra and I have for long believed that the only way to even make a small dent in the broken employability ecosystem of the country is focus on the weaklings in the system and allow every talent to access equal opportunities to learn and showcase their skills.
Thus, Belong Education's partnership with the Ministry of Education, Government of Goa feels extremely special as we will get to work with 30+ colleges in the state which would include the best and as well as those in the rural areas.
We get to bring bias free project based learning to 30000+ learners across 10+ streams allowing us to build one of the strongest academia-industry bridge in the country!
None of this would have been possible without the able leadership and guidance of Niyan Marchon and his team as well as 33 colleges that have signed up for the mission. Thank you for trusting us with this and we can’t wait to get started.
We have been saying it for a while, even awkwardly wearing in public places but now I can say we proudly get to live it: Labels are for clothes, not People! #education #employability #Goa #projectbasedlearning #internship
