Friends, I started a new position as Chief Communications Officer (CCO) at Justice for Migrant Women! I am happy to join my colleagues in advancing the organization’s vision of building a world where all migrant and rural women have equity, dignity, and safety. It's been a season of learning, getting to know the team and my new ecosystem. It's also been a season of reflection and so much gratitude for my past experiences and support system that led me to this road.

One aspect of my role is to support Justice for Migrant Women's narrative change initiatives. I would love to tell you about Raizado Festival taking place in Aspen, Colorado. Raizado Festival was created by Monica Ramirez in 2020. The Festival was inaugurated in 2022 by The Latinx House, a project of Justice for Migrant Women, as a means to honor and acknowledge the contributions of Latinx/e leaders to society across sectors. Check out our new website! We are so excited to welcome our guests next week.  https://raizadofest.org/
