"Animal rescue has long felt like a sinking boat. You rescue and rescue animals over and over again, but there are always shelters overflowing.
Over the years, SHH has been creating a holistic approach to rescue to try to address this. We've been working to patch up that boat. Our programs keep people with their pets, connect pets with their forever families, and support pet ownership.
The Secondhand Hounds name no longer represents that work so we are growing to better support the bond between animals and people. Our new name is The Bond Between... we focus on people, animals, and the community."
