Ariel Levy is a renowned Professor of Finance and Economics with a strong focus on empirical analysis and investment performance evaluation. He specializes in researching investment products, with a particular emphasis on implicit risks, product efficiency, and investor behavior in tracking products like ETFs, ETNs, and various passive and active investment vehicles. Additionally, Ariel delves into studying the relationship between security price jumps and the characteristics of their trading environment, including liquidity, tradability, and debt structure. With a background that includes a Masters in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics and Finance from the University of California, Los Angeles, Ariel brings a wealth of academic knowledge and experience to his work. Currently, he holds the position of Assistant Professor of Finance and Economics at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
