Highlights
I had a moment to myself this evening and thought I wanted to use Chat GPT to write me a children's story for my younger daughter, Seher. I remember my buddy Karan Wats giving me the idea cause he's done that for his daughter too.
Seher's a feisty little 3.5yr old, and as a second child, is very good at standing her ground and guarding her turf and stuff. So I thought to put a story together to help her learn to share and be more generous with her possessions. So the story was created, titled, "The Generous Seherutopolis" That's a name She came up with once when playing around with dinosaurs and making up her own stories. Just stuck with me. Cuteness overload.
If you're a parent, this is such a beautiful tool to use, and I really am amazed at how much value-add can be created in a matter of seconds with the use of these AI tools. The image too, was part of the prompt which I'm sharing below. Enjoy, and share your thoughts as well! What have you used AI for that has triggered a similar joy of realisation?
" Be my children's book author. Write me a beauty and playful story about a dinosaur species called the Seherutopolis (Seher is my 3 yr old daughter's name).
Make the story about the journey into a Forrest or about how good the Seherutopolis is at sharing and being generous with her older sister Naintara, and also with her cousins and friends at school.
Let the story be something that can be read in about 10 mins, and if possible create imagery that goes along with it. Seherutopolis should be a petite and cute dinosaur that also has a fearless personality that sometimes scares other dinosaurs away. "

The Startup Pitch - Gyaan | Advice
- If you start a pitch by opening up a slide deck on a big screen, you've already lost ground. *
It doesn't matter if you're pitching a VC or angel for money, or you're pitching a corporate customer, if your first move is to open up a presentation, you've already put yourself on the back foot.
Levelling - is one of the most important first steps that everyone has missed at some point or another in their startup/entrepreneurial journey.
What one person thinks or knows about your venture or industry will vary greatly around a room. You need to figure it out, because there's nothing worst than someone blurting out at the end of your pitch that they didn't understand the basics of your industry; or that they come from a different background (eg. banking vs fintech) and therefore bring their own sets of assumptions and presumptions. You are unwittingly fighting a losing battle, because every statement you make is butting against their views.
After enough time, you'll have heard it all. You'll be ready to pivot your storytelling to suit that audience. Reference examples that are relevant to them and can help break down the barriers of their world view and your own.
My proudest achievements in business are having won over investors and customers before ever starting up my slide deck. By the end of the discussion, they're part of your team, and batting for you!
Challenge yourself to do this, and you will be shocked as to how much more responsive and positive each interaction is, just because you chose to ask questions and learn more about the other person's perception of the same world you live in.
If this post helped you, let me know.
