Armi Susandi

Armi Susandi is a highly accomplished professional with a solid educational background in Meteorology and Earth Sciences.

She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Meteorology from the Department of Geophysics & Meteorology at ITB, then went on to pursue doctoral studies in Earth Sciences at the University of Hamburg and the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology in Germany.

Armi has an extensive work history, having held various key positions in prestigious organizations. She has served as a Presenter at The Climate Project Indonesia and as a former Lecturer and researcher at Institut Teknologi Bandung.

Her expertise and experience also led her to work as a Green Commodity Management Expert at UNDP CO Indonesia. Additionally, Armi has contributed significantly to the field of Meteorology and Climate Change by holding positions such as Co-Chair of Working Group on Extreme Weather at the Indonesian Disaster Expert Association, Head of the Department of Meteorology at ITB, and Chair of the Climate Change Center of ITB.

Furthermore, she has served as the Head of the Laboratory of Applied Meteorology at Institut Teknologi Bandung, and as Vice Chair of the Working Group on Adaptation at the National Council on Climate Change in Indonesia.

Armi Susandi's diverse experience and leadership roles in the field of Meteorology and Climate Change make her a highly respected figure in the industry.
