Highlights
I see a lot of #opentowork profiles. If you are looking to apply to a small business in marketing and sales, it’s critical that you understand how your work leads to revenue and ideally within 3-6 months. Ideally you can show 4x plus revenue lift (of your salary)
A lot of marketing has already been replaced by AI and the trend is continuing into sales functions.
I think one of hottest roles will be someone who is an AI expert in _______ and helps smaller companies deploy AI to drive efficiency and reduce existing labor costs.

Balancing Entrepreneurship and Fitness: My Journey to Regain Health
Being an entrepreneur is an all-encompassing endeavor. Over the past decade, I’ve poured my heart and soul into building Amrita Health Foods often at the expense of my personal well-being.
One of the most significant sacrifices has been my fitness. Long hours, high stress, and the relentless pursuit of success left little room for physical health.
However, as I reflect on these ten years, I realize the importance of balance. Now, I’m determined to regain my fitness, and here’s how I am working thru the change (change is hard as we all know, so I will publicly talk about it to keep myself accountable!)
-
Deep work: I find 90 minute blocks to be awesome and if I can string 4 of them in a day - then I get a lot done in 6 hours.
-
Exercise is the best drug: Commuting to work is the best way for me to get it done. If not it has to be in the garage before work starts. Mood follows action.
-
Find community outside of work to balance the loneliness of entreprenuership: More hobbies outside of work. This year its going to be creating a large vegetable garden and finding other people who love the same
-
Say no a lot more often: This is one of the hardest for me, but it has to be done so I can do the above 3 actions well.
Here's to more Saturday cafe rides!
