Artem Khachaturiants

Artem Khachaturiants is a physicist with a strong engineering background specialized in microscopy, optics, and nanotechnology. He has completed two projects building atomic force microscopy (AFM) labs from scratch and developed methodologies for AFM probe validation, calibration, and parameter tuning for semiconductor metrology.

Artem has worked on various projects including developing imaging protocols for a leading pharmacology company, assessing cell elasticity for early cancer diagnosis using AFM, and creating feedback methodologies for tuning fork-based AFM probes. He has also installed numerous scanning probe microscopy (SPM) systems globally and developed setups for treating cardiovascular diseases and eye diseases, along with an in vivo gene delivery protocol.

His educational background includes a PhD in Applied Physics, an MSc in Applied Physics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a BSc in Physics from Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University. Artem has held positions such as AFM Development Engineer at Nearfield Instruments B.V., Bio-AFM and Raman Laboratory Manager at The Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at Tel Aviv University, Senior R&D Physicist at ReLeaf Medical Ltd., and R&D Physicist and Application Scientist at Nanonics Imaging Ltd. He has also worked as a researcher at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and The Laser Center Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.
