You’ve heard about the AI revolution – in everything from generative AI tools to facial recognition systems. Now, I am thrilled to share that in collaboration with Tempus Labs, Inc., we will be harnessing the power of AI with the goal of improving outcomes for lung cancer patients through early detection. Their Pixel AI technology incorporated into their care pathway intelligence platform, Tempus Next, is designed to enable physicians to detect, measure, and longitudinally track lung nodules with analysis and reporting.
Wondering how it works? We'll use Pixel AI to analyze imaging data to identify and study lung nodules. The AI insights will then be correlated with clinical data to identify actionable nodules. The results will enable us to improve on earlier diagnosis of patients, follow their treatment path and improve end outcomes. This real-world evidence advances our aim of reaching 2 of 3 lung cancer patients and eliminating this disease as a cause of death.
Our ongoing insights will facilitate prompt, optimal treatments and redefine early diagnosis possibilities. This journey isn't a solitary one. Through collaborations and partnerships, we draw nearer to the patients we serve, empowering us to overcome their unique challenges. With each partnership forged, we leap further towards our bold ambition.
Join us as we forge ahead in this transformative endeavor. Exciting updates await!
This post is meant for a US audience: Risk of death reduced by more than half. More than 90% of patients living five years after treatment. The promise of the ADAURA Phase III trial has opened up new conversations about targeted therapies and how they can help people with lung cancer live longer and with a better quality of life. How do we do it? I spoke with SurvivorNet about why AstraZeneca continues investing in powerful targeted therapies in our quest to eliminate cancer as a cause of death. #USOnly #AstraZenecaUS
