Highlights
Highlights from delivering a keynote at the Festival of Digital Innovation 2024, hosted by the Indonesian CIO Network in BSD City! 🚀
The industry veterans did a fantastic job highlighting how the AI landscape in Indonesia has evolved. Aligning to the theme, I focused on how we at AKIN apply AI to enable our B2B Leadgen framework. Specifically, I shared how we've integrated AI mechanics into our clients' go-to-market strategies across APAC, particularly for Global cybersecurity companies & Software leaders. 🌏
At the heart of this AI movement, we're continuously iterating our methods and engines to drive B2B revenue acquisition and RevOps. We aim to scale these efforts across APAC, working with more partners and clients who are as passionate about value creation as we are 🚀 #domorewithless
Meeting and exchanging ideas with many tech and AI leaders at the event was a pleasure. A special shoutout to PT WGS (Ikin & Hendy) for the invite. I also enjoyed connecting with fellow thought leaders like Jing Rui, who played a key role in organising this, and James (Kayliang) Ong, who will speak soon, launching his book — Congratulations! 📚
These experiences are invaluable as we navigate the future of AI and B2B strategies. After all, AI is akin to Quantum physics: the more you know, the more you learn about what you don't 😂 Looking forward to the journey ahead!
Terveisiä Helsingistä - Hello all from Helsinki! 🇫🇮 🐟 ☀ ⛱ 🌲
I'm excited to share that AKIN has been selected as one of the 5 out of more than 200+ applicants from the APAC region 🇸🇬 to join Helsinki Partners' Founders to Finland program. This program aims to be the ultimate European springboard for scale-up founders, and it's an honor to be part of it.
During this first week, we've immersed ourselves in Helsinki's tight-knit collaborative ecosystem. Finland offers a unique blend of highly skilled talents and a socio-cultural DNA that fosters creativity and collaboration 🤝 . Locals here candidly refer to Helsinki as a "country club 🏡 " where everyone knows everyone else, and that social currency is built on openness and trust.
A highlight of the first couple of days here:
🚀 Met familiar faces and 🇸🇬 reps and exchanged our battle stories (Pete Karumo, Crystal, Shilpa, Santosh, Rhythm+ 👋 )
🚀 A business culture Kickstarter from Katie Girow (Finland AmCham): One that stuck with me was that Finnish corporates usually have very low power distance, a mark of an egalitarian society. You can literally write to CEOs, and they will likely respond. Also, your word is your bond; Finnish values trust.
🚀 Mikko & Hanna from Business Helsinki expanded on the macro-economical levers in Finland, including leadership in #sustainability in the EU region. They attributed this to a deep-rooted love for nature (the natural landscape here is stunning, from the Suomenlinna UNESCO site to the central parks 🌳)
🚀 Mikko also emphasized that Finland's capital region thrives on Trust, Care, and Community, a theme commonly spotted throughout the ecosystem.
🚀 Anni Anttonen showcased the community-led Maria 01 and the great works they have championed, as the groundsite 🏡 for startups who collectively raised a whopping 90+M Euros. What a colourful (and successful) startup scene.
🚀 Meeting with Teemu Lehtinen was insightful, sharing opinions on the real estate, construction and built environment across both Singapore and Finland. Thanks for sharing thought leadership from KIRAHub (KIRA-InnoHub ry)!
Will like to take the opportunity to thank Helsinki Partners and especially Sonja Malin who made a difference by connecting and matching businesses for us to meet. Appreciate it - Xin Wang too!
// Stay tuned for more insights & I’ll share more about this fascinating culture in a separate post 😎! #Helsinki #Finland #AKIN #FoundersToFinland #HelsinkiPartners #StartupEcosystem #Innovation #scaleup
