🌟 As part of my ongoing efforts to raise awareness about historic and current leaders in the disability rights movement, I want to spotlight Brad Lomax. I first learned about his impactful work during college, and his commitment to both racial justice and disability rights continues to inspire me.

Brad Lomax didn't "pick a struggle"—he recognized and illuminated how racism and ableism intersect and impact lives. His work and dedication serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of addressing systemic oppression from multiple angles.

For those interested in diving deeper into his remarkable life and contributions, I've included an engaging audio piece from "Good Black News." Check it out to learn more about Brad's legacy.

Check out “Disabled And Here,” a remarkable disability-led stock image and interview series celebrating disabled Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC). Created by Affect, this initiative is a powerful testament to amplifying multiple marginalized voices and embodying disability justice.

This series has many uses, but I encourage design teams and content creators to include these images and stories in their work when appropriate. By showcasing the diverse experiences within the disability community, we highlight that anyone can be disabled, enriching our narratives and fostering inclusivity.
