It’s with a heavy heart that I share the recent turn of events in my professional journey. Last week, my marketing team and I were unfortunately laid off due to budget cuts that have affected the Massachusetts cannabis industry as a whole. The past week has been a period of reflection for me since I packed up my desk, marking the end of an era that spanned three years.

Throughout this time, I had the privilege of growing both personally and professionally, starting from an intern and gradually progressing to the role of a senior graphic designer. Each step presented me with invaluable opportunities to hone my creative skills. Despite the sadness I feel, there is an overwhelming sense of pride that accompanies these memories. As an intern, I served as the sole in-house design support for a rapidly expanding company, even while pursuing my education. This experience exposed me to various design genres, allowing me to develop a diverse portfolio of professional work. Additionally, I had the honor of providing guidance and mentorship to a remarkably talented junior designer.

Although this past week has been challenging, I am genuinely excited for what the future holds. I can't help but feel optimistic as I embark on a new chapter. Having recently relocated to Boston, I am eager to explore new career opportunities in the area. With that in mind, I turn to the power of this remarkable professional network—LinkedIn—and kindly ask for your support. If you come across any prospects or connections that align with my skills and aspirations, send them my way!

So for now if you need me, I'll be spending my free time painting my new apartment! May it serve as a reminder that there is beauty to be found even in times of uncertainty.

And with that, here’s my new portfolio of professional work! My resume can be found on my site as well.
