Highlights
On behalf of the Communications and Media Law Association, Eli Fisher and I wish you a very happy and meaningful International Women's Day.
We are proud to publish our special edition of the Communications Law Bulletin celebrating IWD for the fourth year running.
In this Bulletin, you will hear from 44 super stars from across our industry: women from the bar, private practice, in-house, executive roles, CEOs and news presenters - fiercely brilliant women who hold important, senior roles in our community and equally as impressive women who are well on their way there.
I was honoured to interview Julia Atcherley, Head of Legal and VP, Content, at Condé Nast to discuss her career, current issues facing media lawyers and global publishing houses, as well as her thoughts on International Women's Day. A huge thank you Julia for being a part of this project, and to everyone who helped bring this edition to life.

Calling all Batman fans 🦇 The lastest instalment of the Entertainment Law Review is out - it features my write up on the DC Comics trade mark contest in the EU General Court and considers what evidence aptly demonstrates non-distinctiveness.
This edition also features my brilliant colleagues David Cran Chris Ross Melanie Musgrave and Leonia Chesterfield who discuss the CMA’s Digital Markets Unit and the latest in competition law under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Bill.
Many thanks to Editor extraordinaire Rico Calleja 🌟
