Product designer, creative strategist, social entrepreneur | supporting housing justice + public health

Ashley Eberhart is a product designer, creative strategist, and social entrepreneur based in Brooklyn. She is currently focused on co-designing Unlock NYC, a chatbot aimed at helping New Yorkers facing housing discrimination by creating a paper trail and offering peer support and advocacy during their housing search.

Aside from her work on Unlock NYC, Ashley operates Rising Action Studio, where she collaborates with clients in public health and healthcare to integrate patient advocacy and decision-making into program design. In her free time, she enjoys woodworking and spending time with her two hound dogs.

Ashley holds a Master of Arts in Social Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art, a Bachelor of Arts in Politics (Magna Cum Laude) from Princeton University, and a High School Diploma from Culver Academies.

Her previous roles include Head of Product at Unlock NYC, Product Design Fellow at Blue Ridge Labs @ Robin Hood, Adjunct Faculty, Graduate Researcher, and Teaching Assistant at Maryland Institute College of Art, Product Design Fellow at emocha Mobile Health Inc, Project Manager, Senior Consultant, Consultant, Analyst at Dalberg Global Development Advisors, and Research and Consulting Intern at Endeavor. She also served as Co-Founder and Board Member at Pasand.
