Ashley Schmeltzer is a highly educated professional with a strong background in geography, international studies, and geographic information systems (GIS). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, a Master of Arts in Geography, and a Graduate Certificate in GIS from the University of Arizona.

Ashley has a wealth of experience in various roles, with a focus on GIS and technical expertise. She has worked in different capacities at the American Red Cross, including as GIS, IM, and ICT Manager, GIS Officer, and GIS Technical Specialist. Prior to her time at the American Red Cross, she held positions at Southern California Edison, APR Consulting, Inc., and other organizations.

She has served as an Americorps Member, a Project GPS/GIS Technician at Northern Arizona University, a Teaching Assistant in Remote Sensing at the University of Arizona, and a Research Assistant at the University of Arizona.
