As I reflect on the past couple of years, I have so much gratitude.

Attending Wharton has been the opportunity of a lifetime with the invaluable time to travel, pursue new hobbies, and to reconnect with family and friends. I’ve enjoyed my time in the classroom learning from incredible professors, in particular Claudine Gartenberg and Gad Allon, who have shaped the direction of my future career. Outside the classroom, I’ve been able to reflect upon who I am, what motivates me, and think critically about my leadership style. I am deeply appreciative of the immersive McNulty Leadership Program, experiencing transformative executive coaching, a leadership venture to Chile, reflective conversations through P3, and teaching and mentorship as a Leadership Fellow. I’m lucky to have worked with Nancy Rothbard, Cait Lamberton, Barbara Kahn, Katy Milkman, and Cade Massey, who have graciously allowed me to TA for and support their classes.

I had the opportunity to cap my Wharton experience with a summer exchange at INSEAD, where I experienced life in Fontainebleau, met diverse students who graciously welcomed me during P5, learned from professors who challenged my assumptions, and connected with friends who span the globe.

And of course, business school is nothing without the people, classmates who are so open in sharing their experiences, friends who keep you grounded and enrich your day to day, and best friends who I will cherish till the end of time. I'm thankful for all that Wharton has given me.

A mentor once told me to never forget your roots, and this journey would not have been possible without a few other thank yous.

Thank you to Adobe and Preston Poon for giving me a chance to move into an operating role and helping me follow through with a career change.

Thank you to Thoma Bravo for being the foundation to my career - San Francisco is where I grew as a young professional. I’ll carry the lessons I learned with me and I’m grateful for the continued guidance and advice from Mike Hoffmann, JD Ardell, and Mohnish Gandhi.

Thank you to my family and friends, people who have supported me through the ups and downs, taught me valuable lessons, and expanded my world view.

As for next steps, I’m so excited to join the Shore Capital CXO Program and their portfolio company Roaming Hunger in Los Angeles. For this chapter of learning and growth, I can’t wait to collaborate with Greg Liberman, Ross Resnick, Ozan Cubukcu, Jeff Smith, Jacob Balley, and my new colleagues.

The last time I posted on LinkedIn was over six years ago, six months into my first job out of college. Time has flown, and as I embark on my fourth cross country move in just over 10 years, I can’t wait to be back in my hometown, a city that has always fueled my love for life, this journey, and my next adventure.

With that, thank you, please reach out if you ever want to catch up, and here’s to the next decade.

A belated happy new year to all!

For me personally, 2017 was a year of change—graduating from college, letting go of a sport I had enjoyed for four years, moving to New York, and starting a full-time job to name just a few. Along the way, I am extremely grateful for those who have supported me, namely family, close friends, and mentors, as well as new relationships that have sprouted and grown. As I look ahead to 2018, I'm excited to again pursue hobbies that have previously taken a back seat in college (most importantly, watching as many baseball games as possible and hopefully exploring baseball research and data further) and become more engaged with politics in America.

Wishing you all a wonderful 2018!
