Last week, my McKinsey & Company colleagues and I hosted the inaugural Black and Hispanic Executive Dallas summit, where we convened local Black and Hispanic leaders to discuss how to expand economic opportunity in North Texas.

It was incredibly inspiring to hear the keynote address from Dr. Michael Sorrell, president of Paul Quinn College on our theme of “building bridges”. The summit left me encouraged about the potential to address inequities and accelerate sustainable and inclusive growth in our community.

We look forward to continuing this conversation with more senior Black and Hispanic leaders and senior executives in people and culture roles from across the private, public, and social sectors – please message me if you’d like to join a future session or to nominate someone from your network.

CC to a terrific team of co-hosts Bobby Demissie, Aaron Aboagye, Alejandro Diaz, Mbu Waindim, Lauren Gage and Dr. Beatrice Wamuti, PhD

I am thrilled to share the latest article I’ve co-authored with my colleagues Kate Luther, Sara Slayton O'Rourke and Todd Wintner.
