Highlights
Today marks a big shift in my life as I say goodbye to my day-to-day role at Pineapple Collaborative after an enriching and transformative seven years.
Together with an extraordinary team of mentors, friends, collaborators, and partners, I've embarked on a journey brimming with innovation and purpose. With the help of so many, we brought 4 cult-classic pantry products to market, launched 3 collaboration products, hosted hundreds of events for thousands of food lovers across the country, reached tens of thousands of listeners with Pineapple Radio, and published dozens of Pantry blogs featuring incredible talent. Through it all, I've confronted challenges head-on, learning invaluable lessons, and fortifying my values and resolve with each twist and turn.
What’s next for me? I'm diving into a new adventure as the Head of Marketing at South 40 Snacks. I can't wait to build the brand and tell the stories of the incredible producers that make the products so special.
Pineapple has become ingrained in me, and I cherish the lessons I've learned while building this incredible brand. This next step won’t mean abandoning it, but bringing it with me in a new form. Here's to new beginnings and carrying a bit of Pineapple wherever life takes me.
“If the price of your olive oil feels like a steal, it probably is. Too-good-to-be-true prices usually mean that something’s being compromised, whether that’s an impact on the environment, quality of ingredients, or potentially exploitative labor practices. We prefer to treat our pantry staples as what they actually are: true products of agriculture. It costs more money to treat the environment with respect, to use high-quality ingredients, and to make sure everyone is being paid fairly for their labor.”
Thanks, Forbes for sharing the story of Pineapple Collaborative's recent collaboration with EXAUoliveoil.
