Aude Billard

Full Professor, EPFL

Aude Billard is an accomplished individual with a diverse background encompassing education, research, entrepreneurship, and leadership roles.

She holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Edinburgh and an MSc in Physics from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne).

Aude has held various significant positions in esteemed organizations, including currently serving as the Vice President for Publication Activities at IEEE Robotics and Automation Society.

She is a Co-Founder of AICA and has been extensively involved in research and academic roles like being a Full Professor at EPFL and an Associate Professor with Tenure.

Her entrepreneurial spirit is evident through her roles as a Co-Founder and Member of Administrative Board at Pomelo sàrl, DIDEL SA, and as a Board Member at Fondation Women in Science and Engineering (EPFL-WISH).

Aude Billard's influence extends to public service as well, having been a Conseillere Communale at Ville de Lausanne.

With a strong background in academia and research, Aude has also imparted her knowledge as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Southern California and as a Research Assistant Professor at the same institution.
