Audrey Verde, MD, PhD, is an accomplished PGY5 radiology resident and a first-year Neuroradiology fellow at Stanford University. She holds undergraduate degrees in Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Psychology from North Carolina State University and completed her MD-PhD specializing in Neurobiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Verde's research in Neurobiology involved analyzing diffusion weighted images to investigate the episodic memory circuitry in cigarette smokers and nonsmokers. She has been actively involved in various projects focusing on mentorship, diversity, advocacy, and informatics within the Radiology Department and Graduate Medical Education office. Dr. Verde is passionate about mentorship and has founded programs like the Navigating Medicine Mentorship Program to uplift underrepresented medical students.
