She has previously founded companies such as Poppy, which connects parents with caregivers, and papaya+post, an e-commerce platform focused on cultural products for children. If you're a working parent, I wanted to suggest something to try this Sunday.

Over the past 5 years of building Milo, I've worked with thousands of families across the country - seeing what the invisible load is for them and how they manage it. As we've experimented with tools and processes, there has been one consistent thing that has an outsized impact in how a week goes:

✨ The Weekly Preview.

It can be a quick 5 min chat or a more in-depth session, but the point is to review what's coming up for the week, make key plans upfront, and acknowledge tricky spots.

We're translating these learnings into a built-in Sunday Scan for our Milo families, but I wanted to share how any family can implement it right now, in just 20 minutes.

I'm excited to share my latest HBR piece where I explain this simple, sanity-saving process and why it's so effective.

I'm also curious to hear from you: Are you doing this already? How does it work for you and your family?

It's Leap Day, my flight is delayed 3 hours and tomorrow kicks off Women's month. 😉

So I'm going to do a thing.

This next month, I want to personally help 1000 families end the month feeling like the invisible load is not such a heavy constant thing.

Like we're not unreasonable to expect some sort of tech can help us with this modern onslaught of information, logistics and crazy schedules.

Even though it's still early innings, I've seen how my family and our early beta families have benefitted, and I want to help yours.

So. If you:

  • have school aged kids
  • have a partner willing to engage and/or other people to coordinate things with (eg. caregiver, grandparent, neighbor etc)
  • are willing to try an early thing in all its messy glory
  • are curious how AI actually makes this a solvable problem
  • are willing to pay for a thing if it works

.. then I'd love to see if 4 weeks can make a difference. I'll hop on a call with you for 20 minutes to set things up, your family does your thing for the next month: https://lnkd.in/gtrUPdED

let's do this. 💪🏽
