Wow! May many more turn darkness into light!
Spread goodness and kindness and counter violence against innocent people.
I am sure @elonmusk that you were not aware, when you shared a video of @TuckerCarlson yesterday on X, that at the same time he was spreading a malicious lie to his 17 million followers that the global Chabad Jewish community supports and not disavow violence against innocents.
This claim is false and deeply dangerous.
@elonmusk I respect your commitment to open dialogue and free speech. That is why I am asking: how can a relatively small group focused on serving the Jewish community counter such damaging misinformation when it is amplified by a media personality with the largest audience on X, reaching tens of millions of people?
Chabad is a Jewish community with thousands of centers across the United States and around the world devoted to helping others and strengthening society through acts of goodness and kindness.
The guiding message to the world from the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson of righteous memory, was simple and universal:
Every human life is sacred, and the path to a better world is through increasing acts of goodness and kindness.
The Jewish community knows Chabad well and that Tuckers accusations are false. But hundreds of millions of people who are unfamiliar with Chabad he now leads to believe that we support violence against innocent people, which has our communities in danger.
What is the best way to counter dangerous misinformation like this on X?
