Ayanna Saulsberry is an accomplished professional with a strong educational background in dramatic writing, media studies, African diaspora aesthetics, and hip hop culture.

Ayanna holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Dramatic Writing from New York University, where she also pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Media Studies focusing on African Diaspora Aesthetics & Hip Hop Culture. She completed her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mass Communication/Media Studies & English at Clark Atlanta University.

With a wealth of experience, Ayanna has held various roles in renowned organizations. She currently serves as a Producer at Afropunk LLC and has previously worked as a Script Consultant in Research & Development at AM Saulsberry. Her background includes roles like Consultant & Creative Workshop Coordinator at Self Care Works, Producer in Film & TV at Mass Appeal, and Archival Producer at VICE Media.

Ayanna's extensive portfolio further includes roles such as Co-Producer for the Black Girl Movement documentary, Associate Producer & Archival Research for ACORN and the Firestorm documentary, and Production Manager for the SOARS Documentary. She has also taken on responsibilities as an Associate Producer for various projects like AMPAS Honorary Oscars Tribute Reel, Flowers (short film), and ESPN 30 for 30 Films.

In addition to her production work, Ayanna has contributed her writing skills to projects like Body Magic Tales and Minority Enterprise Advocate (MEA) Magazine. Her experience extends to roles such as Researcher at Five Floors Productions, Writers' Assistant at CBS Television, and Assistant at Spike Lee's production company, 40 Acres & NYU.
