Very often LLM generated output is tinged with "sameness". My poorly articulated explanation is that when poorly used large language models revert your output to the mean, bc thats what they're often trained on.
The downside is: if you're above-average at something and you use it wrong, your output quality drops. But the upside is that if you are below-average at something and you use them well, your output quality increases.
Most humans, by definition, are below average at most things, and so models allow us to be better at those things, and I think coding agents accelerate this.
