I also signed the #1000MBAs_letter Over 1,000 Israeli alums from top business schools globally issue an unprecedented warning: The judicial overhaul is destructive to the Israeli economy.

Over the last few months, the Israeli government has been aggressively pushing for a legal "reform" that would undermine Israel as a democracy and tank its economy. We will not stay silent and see our country crumble down.

The estimates by the Israeli Ministry of Finance are only the tip of the iceberg. We can already see the economic damage in both large and small companies, traditional industries, and tech. This will impact all of Israel’s citizens.

Join our call to stop the legislation and reach a broad agreement to save Israel’s economy.

Two years ago I moved to NY to start my MBA in the midst of a global pandemic, after leaving a job that I loved, determined to pursue and create change. I took off my lawyer’s wardrobe, both physically and mentally, rolled my sleeves and dived into a lifetime experience. Back then, people almost managed to convince me that I’m crazy. In retrospect, I gave myself probably one of the largest gifts I could give myself in the context of both my professional and personal growth. I couldn’t predict the big things that have happened to me since then:

I met brilliant friends from 30+ countries from whom I learned on a daily basis. A few of them will be there for me no matter what happens. The rest will at least introduce me to their network and support my professional growth.

I specialized in finance, strategy and fintech. I found finance stimulating and empowering. Each time I was surrounded by talented bankers (mostly men, unfortunately), in front of a top finance professor, my appetite only grew more. Strategy included everything I love about creative planning being constantly aware to what happens within and outside. In fintech I found the most powerful combination of finance, innovation and social impact. This passion led me to Melio where I interned and where I’m excited to head next very soon.

I produced the school’s podcast Stern Chats being probably the first international student in that role. My incredible team exposed listeners to great guests who put their true self into the process. Later on, I turned into the editor and host of a few episodes, enjoying the enlightenment that is rooted in acquiring new skills.

I worked with Prof. Cristiano Zazzara and supported his sustainable finance class and with Prof. Michael Posner in his law, business and human rights class. I also worked on the value proposition of Ubora Advisors, LLC led by the inspiring Nyagaka Ongeri. The least expected perhaps the most powerful experience came from teaching undergrads in NYU Abu Dhabi about Judaism in the JLF program led by the great Rabbi Yehuda Sarna. Until this day I’m not sure I taught them more then I learned from them about their beautiful unique roots, cultures and religions.

I lived the best NYC life with my partner and made the most out of the most diverse city in the world, what led my heart sing (almost) every day. At the same time I didn’t miss any important family event in Israel regardless of the endless COVID tests and flights I had to take.

I traveled to visit my friend’s house in Mexico, ski in Colorado, dance the nights out in PR, drive route 1 in California, walk the freedom trail in Boston and hike and chill in upstate NY whenever the city got too loud.

Juggling btwn all of this when all is new was challenging and this too is probably an understatement. But feeling so alive, awakned and refreshed is what makes me be so greatful and proud today.

Huge thanks to all of my supporters. I couldn’t have done this without you 💜
