Barbara Hodges

Immediate Past President of Le Bonheur Club Inc.

Barbara Holder Hodges served as the President of Le Bonheur Club from 2016 to 2017.3 She is one of two sisters who have served as president of the club, with her sister Debbie Florendo serving from 2005-2006.1

Barbara found it especially rewarding to work on crafts with patients in the hospital's Family Resource Center and help parents feel at home via items from the hospitality cart. One of her most memorable moments as President was presenting the Pat Klinke Award to Le Bonheur Club member Sirella Joyner.1

Barbara is proud of the club's longevity and devotion to its mission, noting that it has not only survived 100 years but is thriving. She believes the Founding Mothers would be amazed at how the club has grown from a small sewing circle to an organization that raised money to start the hospital.1

It's worth noting that this Barbara Hodges should not be confused with others of the same name, such as the Barbara Hodges who became Executive Director of the Florida Council of Independent Schools in 20102, or the Barbara H. Hodges on LinkedIn who is a Product Manager with over 19 years of experience in manufacturing design and development.4
