With a background in Mathematics from Wake Forest University, Barbara has held pivotal roles in various organizations including being the U.S. CEO at Siemens, President and CEO of Siemens Government Technologies, Inc., Senior Vice President and COO at Siemens, Vice President at Booz Allen Hamilton, and Vice President and Director at Lockheed Martin.

Barbara's career has been centered around the purpose of technology to push the boundaries of what is achievable, with a keen focus on diversity, STEM education, and achieving a work-life balance that resonates with her priorities as a leader at Siemens and as a grandmother.

She actively contributes to several Boards of Directors such as Triumph Group, Fluence Energy, The Economic Club of Washington D.C., and Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose (CECP), while also holding the position of Chairman at The Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments (CSBA) and being part of the Advisory Board for Ouster.
