Bart Welch is a travel-industry executive, CEO of Rocket Travel, Inc; a Booking Holdings subsidiary. He has extensive experience working with McKinsey & Company in Marketing, M&A, Pricing, and new market entry. Welch was raised on the Caribbean island of St. Maarten/St. Martin, instilling in him a passion for travel that has driven his career. After joining Rocket Travel in 2015, he was pivotal in turning it from a U.S-centric hotel-only B2C company to a global, multi-vertical B2B2C company. Rocket now provides bespoke, scalable travel solutions for the world's leading companies, including Southwest Airlines, T-Mobile, and PayPal. Welch is a graduate of Harvard Business School and of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - Kenan-Flagler Business School. With an extensive record of delivering results and driving accountability in a team-centric environment, Welch has led Rocket Travel through the Covid-19 pandemic and positioned it well to meet the future demand expected as the world returns to travel. His interests include entrepreneurship, investment, and diversity and equity in the workplace.
