Becky Steckler is a proven leader with over 25 years of work experience in academic, state agency, non-profit, and private consulting roles, specializing in transportation, land use, climate change, economic development, housing, and natural hazards and resiliency.

She excels as a principal investigator or project manager and is known for developing and maintaining effective working relationships across departments, disciplines, boundaries, and organizations to ensure leadership success and achieve organizational missions.

Becky Steckler enjoys problem-solving, identifying patterns in complex processes, and providing high-quality integrated solutions for unique management issues. She has a particular interest in parking policies.

Education-wise, Becky holds a Master of Arts in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Government and History from Mills College.

Her extensive professional experience includes roles such as Project Director at ECOnorthwest, Urbanism Next Program Director at Urbanism Next, Program and Policy Manager at the Oregon Chapter of the American Planning Association, and Adjunct Assistant Researcher at the University of Oregon, among others.
