Linkedin Community: I have a belated bit of news to share. Last November, I was elected to the City Council in my hometown of Saratoga, California. It’s been the journey and experience of a lifetime: from knocking on thousands of doors to learning intimately about community issues street by street, I’m grateful to the city of Saratoga and everyone who helped me get here(literally too many names to list them all). I’m incredibly humbled, excited and honored by the opportunity to help shape and influence the city and region I grew up in. In my first 8 months on the Council I’ve worked on everything from climate related emergencies to housing policy, traffic safety, crime, wildfire prevention, pickleball courts, labor negotiations and historic preservation. To be clear, I’m not quitting my job to go all in on politics - I still have my day job at Stripe that I love(6 years strong!).
