Highlights
I've long been fascinated by the fact that despite a steady stream of news all but confirming the existence of extraterrestrials, people still manage to live their lives as if nothing's happening.
In part, I think that's because alien life is a prime example of what the philosopher Timothy Morton calls hyperobjects -- concepts that are so disruptive to our everyday reality that we struggle to engage with them. But as another philosopher, the artist Jenny Holzer, said, "Use what is dominant in a culture to change it quickly." And what's more dominant than an ad on the Super Bowl?
Huge thanks to the incredible team at Squarespace, as well as our amazing partners Martin Scorsese, Rodrigo Prieto, Alfonso Gomez-Rejon, David Tedeschi, Superprime Films, SIKELIA PRODUCTIONS, INC, Parliament, Harbor Picture Company, and Company 3.
