remember your first 100 cold calls?

i sure do.

as a seller, you have to be extremely deficient in self-awareness to publicly rip on more junior sales reps and their abilities.

and if you don’t think that rep will see your post, you’re sorely mistaken.

so if you’re a seasoned seller on the receiving end of a cold call that isn’t going so hot, you have an opportunity to really change the trajectory of a junior rep’s career through basic coaching.

not to mention the opportunity to brighten their day ten fold.

be a human being.

get organized first, iterate second.

earlier this year i was really struggling in my new role.

i sought help and after several coaching conversations, i discovered a glaring problem.

i realized most of my problems were coming from a lack of organization.

i had no repeatable process. i was pushing out content haphazardly and as ideas came to me. i wasn't planning future content.

after sharing all of this with Rayna van Beuzekom 🦕, she shared a Notion table that looked like the one below.

i tweaked it and created content categories for each brand that i could plan with.

i've been using this framework for about 5 weeks now and it's completely changed everything for me.

it's simple, but now it's repeatable. it's simple, but now i can be intentional. it's simple, but now i'm planning a couple weeks out.

you don't need fancy tools at first. sometimes a simple table with cool colors can make all the difference.

so get organized first, find your groove, THEN can iterate with depth, channels, and ideas!
